Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Masterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeffrey Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masterson comes into the arena with Stinkfist blaring out of the sound system. Bruno Masterson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masterson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rush swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rush looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Masterson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rush, pushing him back against the cage.
Masterson wants to break free but Rush has control.
Masterson has Rush pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rush manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Masterson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Masterson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rush stuffs the takedown attempt from Masterson. Masterson gets slowly back to his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Masterson stalks Rush and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rush's face. Rush staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Jeffrey Rush has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
