Shadows shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Powers sprawls well. Powers wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Shadows gets slowly back to his feet.

Shadows swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Powers is now in Shadows's guard. A big mistake from Shadows there, giving up the dominant position!

Powers got a little sloppy there for a moment and Shadows has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Powers has managed to get both his arms back between Shadows's legs - danger averted.

Shadows isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Powers stacks Shadows on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Powers!

Powers throws an overhand right that lands on Shadows's shoulder, as Shadows tries to avoid the shot.

Powers throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Shadows stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
