Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Charles Brigante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimi Patrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patrick is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dropkick Murphys - I'm Shipping Up to Boston. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patrick misses with the combination.
Patrick cracks a nice hook into Brigante's ribs.
Patrick scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
No joy there for Patrick, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Patrick avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Brigante misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Patrick.
Patrick darts in and clinches Brigante up against the ropes.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Brigante cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Oooooh, big shot lands for Brigante! Patrick is hurt baaadly! Brigante is firing away with more strikes - Patrick is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
