The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens looks to land a combination but Merker Junior avoids it well.
Stevens looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Merker Junior.
Stevens avoids the head kick by Merker Junior.
Stevens tries to bum rush Merker Junior with a series of wild strikes but Merker Junior uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Stevens looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Merker Junior rushes Stevens and presses him up against the cage.

Merker Junior breaks from the clinch.

Merker Junior feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stevens is on top in guard.

Stevens drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Stevens as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Merker Junior screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Stevens! Nice submission victory there!
