The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayato shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Abnoy as he avoids it easily.
Abnoy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Abnoy tries to clinch there but Hayato circles away.

Hayato shoots for a takedown but Abnoy saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Abnoy throws out a loose jab but Hayato uses good head movement to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

NoyNoy Abnoy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shinya Hayato.
Hayato is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Abnoy pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Abnoy wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hayato has him pressed against the cage.

Hayato's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hayato changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Abnoy tries to avoid it but Hayato manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Abnoy to the ground. Abnoy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Abnoy misses with a takedown attempt - Hayato sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Abnoy bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
