The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Bruno Lombardi and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nolan shoots in but Dees avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Nolan has Dees up against the cage in a clinch.

Dees goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Dees throws a strike but Nolan avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

so Nolan counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Nolan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dees on the ground.

and Nolan counters with a left and a right that stings Dees.
Dees is breathing heavily.
Nolan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Nolan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dees moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Nolan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dees looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nolan stands up.

Dees gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dees wants to stand up but Nolan is controlling him.
Nolan stands and throws Dees's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Dees defending against the ground and pound.

Nolan thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Nolan tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Dees wants to break the clinch but can't.

Nolan throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Nolan misses with a hook. Dees ducked under it nicely.
Bill Dees has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Dees tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Nolan makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Dees really felt that one!

And that's the end of the fight!
Mitch Nolan showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Nolan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
