The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz scores with a decent looking hook.
Cruz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ford has a takedown stuffed.
Ford throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Ford looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Cruz connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ford momentarily.

Cruz drops Ford with a beautiful combination! Ford stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Cruz is looking for the KO!

It looks like Dave Ford has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ford is looking to clinch but Cruz is avoiding it.

Cruz looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Ford!
Cruz postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Ford out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Cruz goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
