Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between David Dunne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikail Barasshole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dunne might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Nopsajalka - Johnny Kidd. David Dunne has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, David Dunne!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mikail Barasshole!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Hugh Johnson and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barasshole looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Dunne swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Dunne moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Barasshole shoots in but Dunne avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Dunne lands a lovely overhand right.
Dunne scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Barasshole doesn't seem bothered though.
Barasshole fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
David Dunne has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mikail Barasshole.

Dunne lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Barasshole shoots in for a takedown but Dunne shows good takedown defense.

Dunne bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Barasshole's head.
Dunne connects with a looping right hand.
Dunne bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Barasshole takes one to the chin there.
Barasshole takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Barasshole walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dunne, as that shot connected.

Dunne rushes Barasshole and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
A left hand lands to the body for Dunne.
Dunne works on Barasshole's body with a couple of short punches.
A right handed body shot lands from Dunne.

Dunne turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Barasshole is trying to escape the position but Dunne is controlling the position.
Dunne's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Barasshole looking for a sweep but Dunne has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Dunne tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Dunne is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Barasshole can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dunne controlling the pace for now.
Dunne lands a big shot there that rocks Barasshole but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Dunne avoids the attempt from Barasshole to control.
Dunne looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Dunne unloads with some shots from mount but Barasshole bucks and avoids them well.
Dunne tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Dunne postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Barasshole looks a forlorn figure.
Dunne takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Dunne has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee stands the fighters back up. David Dunne just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Barasshole takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dunne. Barasshole does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nice straight punches there by Dunne. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Dunne.
Donk. Dunne catches Barasshole right on the button with a cross.
Barasshole takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Barasshole moves forwards but Dunne connects with a nice, crisp jab.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Dunne cracks Barasshole with a good jab.
Barasshole takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Dunne scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Dunne takes the fight into the clinch.
Dunne will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Barasshole up against the cage.
Dunne lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Barasshole backwards.
Barasshole tries to pull guard but Dunne holds him up against the cage and eventually Barasshole drops back down to his feet.
Barasshole wants to stall.
Still in the clinch, Dunne scores with a nice short uppercut.

Barasshole is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Dunne pushes Barasshole back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Barasshole is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Dunne pulls him back up using the underhooks.
