The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cox looks to land a combination but Mannerheim avoids it well.

Mannerheim changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cox looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Cox is looking for a sweep.
Mannerheim misses with the ground and pound.
Cox pushes Mannerheim away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Mannerheim gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Cox sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Cox is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Mannerheim has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Mannerheim is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Cox is trying to escape and Mannerheim transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Cox is forced to tap! Nice work there by Mannerheim! Very nice indeed!
