The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sors will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sors drops Lainen with a left and a right! Oh, Lainen is hurt - Sors dives into side control looking to finish!

It looks like Opa Lainen has been cut.
Sors wants to stand but Lainen is controlling his arm.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lainen tries to buck Sors off but Sors is having none of it.
Sors tries to stand but Lainen is controlling his head.
Lainen could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Lainen is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Lainen tries to roll over but Sors keeps him under control.
Lainen is breathing heavily.
Sors wants to stand up but Lainen is controlling the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Sors throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sors bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A left and a right from Sors both land. Nice combination.

Lainen is rocked!
Sors lands with a nice combination. Lainen backs away looking to recover.
Oh Lainen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A big right followed by a crushing left from Sors knocks Lainen out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
