Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between henri syrjala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ernest Remar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Remar darts in and clinches syrjala up against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Remar - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
syrjala is pushing Remar up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Remar as syrjala tries to tie him up.
Remar is trying to drag syrjala to the mat but syrjala just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
syrjala keeps control of Remar as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Remar has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. syrjala is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Remar.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Remar got a little sloppy there for a moment and syrjala has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Remar has managed to get both his arms back between syrjala's legs - danger averted.

syrjala jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Remar walks away with a smile on his face. syrjala gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
