The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boiko thows a body kick. svitins tries to catch it but that hurt him.
svitins changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Boiko tries to avoid it but svitins manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Boiko to the ground. Boiko escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Boiko is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Boiko connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
svitins fails with the takedown.
Boiko scores with a kick to the midsection.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

svitins is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Boiko can't fight it off and eventually svitins manages to take the fight to the floor. Boiko looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

svitins is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

svitins has gone for a leg lock! Boiko slips out almost immediately though and dives into svitins's guard.

svitins is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Boiko defends well.
Boiko must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

svitins escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Boiko gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Boiko has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing svitins to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Boiko is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - svitins pulls down on the head and he's put Boiko to sleep! This one is all over!
