Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between George Hust (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Leigh Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kent has chosen Stand Up (Akala) as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kent fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hust avoids it really well and circles away.
Kent shoots in but Hust avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Hust closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hust lands in his opponent's guard.
Kent can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hust controls the pace.
Hust is fighting to break Kent's control of his arms but Kent is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Hust got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kent has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hust has managed to get both his arms back between Kent's legs - danger averted.

Kent shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hust manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Hust is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hust throws and low kick but Kent moves out of range easily.

Hust throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kent was covering up waiting for the punch and Hust finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hust. Kent does a little dance to reset his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
