The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

PACMAN Pacquiao feints and as Man raises his hands in defense, PACMAN Pacquiao changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
PACMAN Pacquiao wants to pass the guard but Man is keeping the position.
PACMAN Pacquiao throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Man works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Man looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Man is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
PACMAN Pacquiao pushing down on Man's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Man wants to control but PACMAN Pacquiao is keeping busy.
Man is not content to let PACMAN Pacquiao control the position.
Man keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Nice takedown defense from Man. No joy for PACMAN Pacquiao on that attempt.
Man misses with the combination.

PACMAN Pacquiao looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Man!

Man is in a horrible position here. PACMAN Pacquiao smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

It looks like Tiquinho Man has been cut.

PACMAN Pacquiao moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Man has worked his arm free - good work by Man!
PACMAN Pacquiao creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Man wants to control but PACMAN Pacquiao postures up.
Man is looking to regain half guard here but PACMAN Pacquiao keeps moving and retains side control.

Man manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Man is breathing heavily.
Man wants to sweep but PACMAN Pacquiao has passed to side control!
PACMAN Pacquiao scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Man to see if he's OK.
PACMAN Pacquiao connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Man some visible discomfort.
A lull in the action here as PACMAN Pacquiao stalls from top position.
Man is trying to work for a sweep but PACMAN Pacquiao has mounted him!
PACMAN Pacquiao postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Man looks a forlorn figure.

Tiquinho Man's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tiquinho Man's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
