Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mbamba.

Mbamba takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Mbamba pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Jones lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Mbamba throws a right and a left that Jones avoids nicely.
Mbamba will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mbamba. Jones does a little dance to reset his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mbamba looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Mbamba misses with the combination.
Mbamba lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jones circles away quickly and effectively.

Jones ducks under a wild hook from Mbamba.
Jones works the jab nicely.

Jones lands a big uppercut and Mbamba crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Mbamba looks OK. Jones waves Mbamba back to his feet!
Mbamba is rocked!
Mbamba drops his hands momentarily. Jones doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Mbamba staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Mbamba doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bones Jones!
