Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jorge tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Alves swivels and escapes.
Jorge changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Alves tries to avoid it but Jorge manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Alves to the ground. Alves escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Alves moves out of range of the strikes.
Jorge shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Alves but Alves pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Winter Jorge. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Alves clinches up against the cage.
Alves gets underhooks to prevent Jorge's takedown attempt.

Alves breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Alves tries a head kick but it misses.
Alves scores with a nice right hand.
A right-left combo lands from Alves.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Alves lands with a right that hurts Jorge. Jorge looks to clinch but Alves throws a short knee that drops Jorge. This one is all over!
