Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick Jonhson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Runar Soegaard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Soegaard comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Final countdown kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soegaard stuffs the takedown.
Jonhson misses with a takedown attempt - Soegaard sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jonhson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jonhson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Soegaard pinned against the cage. Soegaard gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Jonhson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jonhson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Soegaard stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Soegaard wants it to stay on the feet.
Soegaard comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Soegaard lands a big head kick that sends Jonhson tumbling to the mat! Soegaard takes a step backwards and waves Jonhson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Nick Jonhson has been cut.
Jonhson is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Soegaard thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Jonhson if he has to take too many more of those.
Jonhson walks straight into a right hand from Soegaard - that's dropped him! Soegaard jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Jonhson from any more punishment! Jonhson complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
