Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nick Story (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lautaro Mapuche (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mapuche wants to clinch up but Story keeps it at a distance.
Story misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Mapuche feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Mapuche throws a head kick that Story semi-blocks.
Mapuche wants to clinch up but Story keeps it at a distance.

and Mapuche counters with a one-two to the body.

Story misses with a hook. Mapuche ducked under it nicely.

Mapuche should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Story decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Mapuche is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Story is staying active.

Mapuche is looking to control Story's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mapuche avoid being mounted?
Story is nestled in close to Mapuche, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Story connects with a nice short shot to Mapuche's temple.

Story uses his free foot to push down on Mapuche's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mapuche.

Mapuche is in a horrible position here. Story smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Story shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mapuche napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Nick Story overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Mapuche is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Story is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Nick Story showed his dominance in that final round.
