Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wanderlei Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ibbe Ribbler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ribbler has chosen Madball - For My Enemies as his entrance music. Ibbe Ribbler acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Silva.
Ribbler ducks under a wild hook from Silva.
Silva ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ribbler moves away.

Ribbler shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Ribbler sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Ribbler can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Silva is looking to escape.

Silva throws a lazy right hand but Ribbler sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Ribbler bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Ribbler connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Silva some visible discomfort.
Silva wants to control but Ribbler postures up.
Silva is not content to let Ribbler control the position.
Ribbler looks up at the clock and then as Silva takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Ribbler smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Ribbler scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Silva to see if he's OK.
Ribbler postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Silva takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Ribbler cracks Silva with a big elbow.
Oh Silva is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
A big shot lands for Ribbler! That's hurt Silva! Will he recover? Ribbler fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
