Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bengt Turnip (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donovan Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Turnip comes into the arena with LOK - Passa dig blaring out of the sound system. The key to victory for Bengt Turnip has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes shoots for a takedown but Turnip saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Turnip will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hughes throws a head kick that misses.
Turnip is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hughes sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Turnip fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hughes avoids it really well and circles away.
Hughes keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Turnip isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hughes stacks Turnip on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hughes!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Hughes has hold of Turnip's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Turnip manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Hughes is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Turnip has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Turnip!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Turnip has control of Hughes's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hughes regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Turnip tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
Hughes tries to control Turnip's body but Turnip pushes him off. Hughes squirms to his side and now Turnip has his back!

Turnip is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Turnip throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hughes's waist but Hughes gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Turnip off to one side.

Well Hughes has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
