Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mel Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Just Case (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mel Gray!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gray throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gray throws a hook to the side of Case's head but Case sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gray throws out a loose jab but Case uses good head movement to avoid it.
No joy there for Gray, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Gray shoots in for a double leg but Case sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Case uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gray.
Case fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gray avoids it really well and circles away.
