Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chase Gooden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anakin Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anakin Richards is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards throws out a powerful jab.
Nice body kick from Richards.
Gooden pivots, looking for a leg kick but Richards is out of range and Gooden settles back down.
Richards fails with an attempt to clinch.
Richards fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Richards stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Richards wants it to stay on the feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Richards bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Gooden is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Richards decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Richards closes the distance and clinches up with Gooden, looking for a takedown. Richards pushes Gooden against the cage but Gooden circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gooden throws a head kick but Richards moves out of range.
Gooden takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Gooden is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Richards is looking to clinch but Gooden is avoiding it.
Richards scores with a hook to the body. Gooden takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Richards buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Danga de danga de dang - Richards scores with a four punch combination!
Richards fails to land with a series of punches.
Richards scores with a shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gooden doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Richards drops Gooden with a beautiful combination! Gooden stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Richards is looking for the KO!
Gooden is rocked!
It looks like Chase Gooden has been cut.
Nice jab there from Richards.
Oh Gooden is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Richards looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Gooden is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Richards is controlling him.
Gooden seems to have got his legs back now.
Richards trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Richards thows a big elbow that misses.
Gooden wants to stand but Richards is controlling the position.
Richards slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Richards thumps Gooden with a low kick.
Richards stalks Gooden and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gooden's face. Gooden staggers backwards, shaken.
Richards connects with a solid leg kick.
Gooden has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Richards doesn't manage to clinch there - Gooden circles away.
Gooden chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Richards can pounce on him.

Richards fails with an attempt to clinch.
Richards displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gooden throws out the jab.
Good standup being displayed there by Richards as he connects with a hook.
Richards scores with a nice right hand.
Good exchange - Richards coming out on top.
Whack! Richards lands a heavy head kick that drops Gooden. The ref tackles Richards to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Gooden was done.
