Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Quaglia but Quaglia pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Carter fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Carter is looking to clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Carter.
Gerolamo Quaglia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wayne Carter.
Carter shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Quaglia sprawls well. Quaglia wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Carter gets slowly back to his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Wayne Carter has been cut.

Quaglia fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Carter on the side of the head.
Carter looks gassed!
Carter shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Quaglia pinned against the cage. Quaglia gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Carter is looking to clinch but Quaglia is avoiding it.
Gerolamo Quaglia is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A looping hook to the body misses from Carter. Quaglia does a little dance to reset his feet.
Quaglia lands a nice hook to Carter's body. Carter takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Carter seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Quaglia shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Carter is backing up but Quaglia catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Carter covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Quaglia Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gerolamo Quaglia!
