Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shinya Kawajiri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Wang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harry Wang will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kawajiri will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Kawajiri is looking to improve his position but Wang isn't that keen on the idea.
Wang has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Kawajiri's face.

Wang wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kawajiri keeps working.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Kawajiri is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Wang pulls his head out easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Wang counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Wang stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kawajiri swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kawajiri had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wang defends it easily.

Kawajiri has his foot on Wang's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wang works his way back into a safe position though.

Kawajiri regains half guard.
Wang seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kawajiri does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wang maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Kawajiri could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Wang has cracked it and Kawajiri is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Wang!
