Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jacoby Shaddix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zinedine Zidane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Zidane shoots for a double leg takedown but Shaddix sprawls well. He's pushed Zidane's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Shaddix has Zidane pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Shaddix pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Zidane tumbling to the mat - Shaddix dives into Zidane's guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Zidane holds on and takes a little breather.
Zidane is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
