The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cute gets the takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Cute wants to control but Asshole is keeping him busy.

Asshole is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Cute can't fight it off and eventually Asshole manages to take the fight to the floor. Cute looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Cute tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cute has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Cute wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Asshole, who protects the arm well.

Well Cute has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
