Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jose Buendia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Selph Throttle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buendia comes to the cage accompanied by Velocity by Tonedeff. Selph Throttle has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jose Buendia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Selph Throttle!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Emerson Jorge and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buendia ducks under a wild hook from Throttle.
Buendia steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Throttle.
A combination from Throttle does no damage.
Throttle lands a jab to the nose.

It looks like Jose Buendia has been cut.
Buendia showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Throttle.
Throttle misses with a body shot.
Throttle ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Buendia moves away.
Buendia's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Buendia duly obliges.
Throttle throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Buendia slips under a jab.
Throttle keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Buendia blocks the body kick.
Buendia shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Throttle pinned against the cage. Throttle gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Throttle does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Throttle throws a big shot that misses.
Throttle swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Throttle misses with an uppercut. Buendia saw that one coming.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Throttle throws a hook but Buendia blocks it.
Throttle takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Buendia works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Throttle swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

Throttle thows a left - swing and a miss!

Buendia shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Throttle napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Buendia takes a little break here. Throttle wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Buendia misses with the ground and pound.
Buendia has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Throttle is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Buendia has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Buendia in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Throttle is trying to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Buendia wants to lay and pray for a moment but Throttle keeps working.
Throttle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Buendia. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Buendia connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Throttle some visible discomfort.

Buendia has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Buendia landing punches.
Buendia postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Throttle badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Buendia around the waist but Buendia pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Buendia is the winner by TKO! Buendia jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
