Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
redknapp tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but barker paws at him with a jab and circles away.
barker lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
barker closes the distance but redknapp moves to the side

and redknapp counters with a takedown into side control.
barker parries the strikes from redknapp easily there. redknapp is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable barker to escape.
barker is trying to control redknapp's posture but redknapp avoids it.
barker is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because redknapp is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
barker tries to improve position but can't.
barker manages to get back to half guard.
redknapp works his foot free and advances to mount.

redknapp goes for an armbar but barker turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from barker.

redknapp is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst barker is controlling him.
barker is stalling in the full guard.
redknapp wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and barker is now in half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
redknapp trying to control but barker postures up.
redknapp tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
redknapp makes his way to full guard. A much better position for redknapp.

barker stands up and waves to redknapp to follow him.

barker feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

barker seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down redknapp for as long as he can get away with.
redknapp has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but barker has passed into side control.

redknapp gets to his feet. barker looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
redknapp tries to close the distance and clinch but barker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
barker connects with a high kick.

It looks like harry redknapp has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
barker controls the position.

redknapp is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on barker's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for barker! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and redknapp has tapped! This one is allllll over!
