Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ben Harper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Enrique Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harper comes to the cage accompanied by Welcome To Jamrock. Mendez has chosen Juno Reactor - Pistolero as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendez looks to land a combination but Harper avoids it well.
Mendez throws a hook but Harper avoids it easily.

Harper closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Harper keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Mendez's efforts to push away.
Harper escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

A head kick from Harper lands but Mendez takes it in his stride.

Mendez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Harper dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mendez. That did some damage!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Harper.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Harper lands a head kick. Mendez smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Harper throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Mendez misses with an uppercut. Harper saw that one coming.

Mendez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Harper feints and then cracks Mendez's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mendez down.
Harper clinches.
Harper tries to land knees in the clinch but Mendez avoids the damage to the body.

Mendez wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Mendez wants to get back to striking at distance but Harper won't allow it.
Harper unloads a knee to the mid-section. Mendez lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Mendez connects with a superb combination that knocks Harper out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Mendez before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Harper!
