Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vadim Finkle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Soprano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Finkle comes to the cage accompanied by NONE. Soprano has chosen Got yourself a Gun as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Anthony Soprano!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finkle swinging wildly here.
Soprano fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Finkle lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
It looks like Anthony Soprano has been cut.
Soprano shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Finkle defends it nicely.
Soprano moves forwards but Finkle connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Finkle feints and as Soprano raises his hands in defense, Finkle changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Finkle seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Finkle tries to free his leg and advance position but Soprano is retaining full guard.

Finkle is really struggling to control Soprano but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Finkle cracks Soprano with a solid left hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Soprano is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Finkle counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Vadim Finkle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anthony Soprano.

and Finkle counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Soprano is rocked!
Finkle postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Soprano covers up, he's hurt! Finkle keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Finkle and the ref steps in to end the fight! Finkle can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vadim Finkle!
