The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jarrow avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jarrow throws a series of punches but Machida avoids them all with ease.
Machida throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Jarrow ducks right into an uppercut from Machida.
Jarrow throws a hook but Machida avoids it easily.
Jarrow throws a right and a left that Machida avoids nicely.
Jarrow throws a body punch but Machida moves out of range.
Machida misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jarrow.

Jarrow punishes Machida's body with a nice straight punch.
Clyde Jarrow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Machida doesn't manage to clinch there - Jarrow circles away.
Clyde Jarrow is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Jarrow swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jarrow takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Machida showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jarrow.
The fighters circle momentarily. Jarrow darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Machida tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Jarrow throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Machida slips a jab from Jarrow.
Jarrow cracks Machida with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jarrow swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jarrow throws a hook but Machida blocks it.

Machida looks to land a combination. Jarrow sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Jarrow will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Machida shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jarrow sprawls well. Jarrow wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Machida gets slowly back to his feet.
Clyde Jarrow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lyoto Machida.

Jarrow swings for the body but Machida moves out of range.

Jarrow drops Machida with a beautiful combination! Machida stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Jarrow is looking for the KO!
Jarrow lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Machida at a distance.

Jarrow lands a nice hook to Machida's body. Machida takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Machida looks gassed!
Machida takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Machida uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jarrow.

Jarrow lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
BOOM! Jarrow lands a beautiful left hook that drops Machida. Machida tries to recover but Jarrow is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Machida lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Clyde Jarrow!
