Interesting... as his entrance music. Clark Kent could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Norman Bates's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Kent.

It looks like Clark Kent has been cut.
Norman Bates seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bates throws a jab but it's blocked by Kent.
Kent throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bates.

Bates has taken the fight to the clinch.
The referee calls for Kent to work.
Kent lands an uppercut.
Bates blocking some punches.
Kent working hard to break the clinch.
Kent has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Kent tries to circle away but Bates has him pinned against the cage.

Kent struggles to land a body shot inside as Bates controls his hands.

Bates throws a nice looking combination but Kent bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Bates shoots in looking for a takedown. Kent tries to sprawl out of it but Bates keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kent manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Kent lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bates circles away quickly and effectively.
Bates connects with the punch.

Bates looks to land a right hand but Kent moved out of range.

Bates fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kent on the side of the head.
Bates is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kent.
Kent throws a sloppy head kick and Bates moves out of range easily.
Kent just misses with a punch to the body.

Kent drives through and clinches with Bates against the cage.
Bates working hard to break the clinch.
Kent takes a shot to the head.
Kent throws a head punch that misses.
Bates blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Bates is trying to force a seperation but Kent has the dominant position.
Kent fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Bates lands a body shot in the clinch.

Bates breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kent. Bates does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bates wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Kent digs a good hook to Bates's body.

Bates misses with an uppercut. Kent saw that one coming.
Bates lands a slapping body shot.
Bates throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A jab-cross combination lands for Bates and sends Kent crashing to the mat! Bates follows him down to the mat - Kent regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Kent is rocked!
Kent on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kent tries to get out of the position.
Bates scores with a big shot! Kent's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Kent! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
