Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John Donalds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giido Bushido (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Giido Bushido told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bushido looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Donalds ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Bushido throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Donalds.
Bushido lands with a slapping head kick.
Bushido thows a body kick. Donalds tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Donalds fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bushido manages to avoid it.

Donalds throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bushido stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Donalds is looking to wear down Bushido with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Well, if Donalds is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Donalds tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The referee stands the fighters back up. John Donalds just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Both guys are working to get underhooks.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bushido has had enough of the clinch but Donalds keeps him there for the moment.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Bushido motions for Donalds to come forward. Bushido throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Donalds bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Donalds looks up at the clock and then as Bushido takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Donalds smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Donalds tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Donalds has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Bushido tries a head kick but it misses.
Donalds shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Donalds has control of Bushido's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bushido regains control of the situation pretty easily.

John Donalds overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
