The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oheat shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Brothers napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brothers sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Oheat is looking for a kimura here.
Brothers is trying to maintain the position but Oheat is very close to passing his half guard.
Oheat thows a huge punch but Brothers dodges it nicely.
Brothers is trying to stand up here but Oheat is controlling him well.
Brothers is looking for a sweep. Oheat is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Oheat throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Brothers trying to control from the bottom.

Oheat is looking for a kimura here.
Oheat stops Brothers from getting back to his feet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Oheat throws a jab when Brothers was well out of range.
Brothers has his takedown stuffed
and Oheat connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Brothers with a lazy takedown attempt
and Oheat counters with an outside leg kick.
Brothers looks gassed!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Brothers shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Oheat counters by moving into the clinch.
Samir Oheat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mario Brothers.
Brothers has Oheat pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Oheat manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Oheat turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Oheat manages to end up in side control.

Oheat is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Brothers is trying to escape and Oheat transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Brothers is forced to tap! Nice work there by Oheat! Very nice indeed!
