Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparta tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hume sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sparta somewhat.
Sparta on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Sparta looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hume is fending him off so far but Sparta persists. Nope, Hume circles away and we're back to standing.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sparta.

Hume tries to close the distance and clinch but Sparta swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Hume ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Sparta is breathing heavily.
Hume tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Sparta changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hume tries to avoid it but Sparta manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hume to the ground. Hume escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hume tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sparta swats him away and circles back towards the center.
James Hume seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hume lands a jab to the nose.

It looks like Diziz Sparta has been cut.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Sparta. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Hume paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Hume tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sparta swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Hume is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Sparta has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Sparta tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hume just stands there and leans against the cage.

Hume creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Sparta's defenses.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Hume.
Hume lands an elbow just above Sparta 's eye.
Sparta takes an elbow to the temple.
Hume pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Hume lands an elbow that stopped Sparta in his tracks for a moment.
Hume lands an elbow inside that Sparta shrugs off.

Sparta pulls Hume into guard.
Hume wanted to stand there but Sparta had control of the position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Sparta looking for a guillotine here but Hume defends easily.

Hume gets to his feet - Sparta follows without any prompting.
Sparta takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Hume tries to clinch there but Sparta circles away.
Sparta shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hume as he avoids it easily.
Sparta fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hume avoids it really well and circles away.
Hume wants to clinch up but Sparta keeps it at a distance.

Hume thuds a left hand into Sparta's body.

Hume moves in looking to clinch but Sparta pushes him off.
Sparta shoots in for a double leg but Hume sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Hume paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Hume throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Sparta.

Hume drops Sparta with a big left hand! Sparta is injured, injured bad! Hume jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
