Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Blue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Atlas Watts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, John Blue!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Atlas Watts!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Colin Fotheringham and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blue blocks a head kick by Watts.
Watts misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Blue will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Watts throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Blue counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Watts!
Watts is trying to escape the mount.
Watts is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Blue has control of Watts's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Watts regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Watts is in all sorts of trouble here.
Blue trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Watts is working to get back to half guard.
Blue pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Watts sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Watts tries to get to full guard but Blue has control of the leg.
Watts moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Blue is breathing heavily.

Watts working for a triangle but Blue defends it easily.

Watts escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Blue gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Watts throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Blue escapes and throws Watts's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Watts tries to improve position but can't.
Blue trying to control the action but Watts is working from the bottom.
Watts taking punishment in the form of punches.
Watts is looking for a sweep.

Blue tries for a kimura but Watts is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Watts manages to get back to half guard.
Watts is refusing to be controlled, as Blue sits in half guard.
Watts is trying to get back to full guard.

Blue stands up out of the half guard.

Blue gets the takedown into side control.

Blue decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Watts throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Watts lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Atlas Watts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Watts throws a lazy head kick

and Blue counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Watts has his foot on Blue's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Blue works his way back into a safe position though.

Watts working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Blue doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Blue manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Watts is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Watts wants to sweep but no luck.

Blue thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Blue has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Watts to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Blue is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Watts pulls down on the head and he's put Blue to sleep! This one is all over!
