Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Preston Barksdale!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Reed Andrews and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Barksdale misses its intended target.
A punch combination from Barksdale misses.
Eggs tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Barksdale rushes Eggs and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Barksdale gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Barksdale tries to free his leg and advance position but Eggs is retaining full guard.
Eggs is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Eggs is looking to take a break and control but Barksdale is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Eggs scores with a one two! Barksdale had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Preston Barksdale has been cut.

Eggs moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Eggs shoots in for a takedown but Barksdale shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Barksdale is looking to improve his position but Eggs isn't that keen on the idea.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Barksdale throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Eggs fails with the takedown.
Barksdale tries to clinch but Eggs moves out of range.

Barksdale is looking for a sweep. Eggs is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Barksdale is squirming around, avoiding Eggs's attempts to control the action.
Eggs breaks from Barksdale's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Ryan Eggs overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Eggs wants to control the pace but Barksdale is squirming around nicely.
Eggs throws some wild stikes that Barksdale manages to avoid easily.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ryan Eggs showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Eggs, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
