The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shain throws a series of punches but Dye moves out of range.
Good standup being displayed there by Shain as he connects with a hook.

It looks like Cameron Dye has been cut.

Dye fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Shain, pushing him back against the cage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Dye takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Shain looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Shain is trying to drag Dye to the mat but Dye just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
