And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juan Rua!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Mauricio Rocha and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Narong defends it nicely.
Fa Ya Narong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Narong closes the distance and clinches.
Rua is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Narong lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

It looks like Juan Rua has been cut.
Rua jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Narong walks away with a smile on his face. Rua gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Rua closes the distance and clinches up with Narong, looking for a takedown. Rua pushes Narong against the cage but Narong circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Fa Ya Narong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juan Rua.
Narong lets loose with a powerful body kick. Rua will feel that in the morning.
Rua looks gassed!

Narong drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Narong is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Narong decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Narong connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Rua tumbling to the canvas! Narong pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Rua was done - good stoppage!
