Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dai Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machida kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Do The Ayatollah. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maia shoots in and bounces Machida off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
Machida looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Machida utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Lyoto Maia comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
