Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Vortex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinton Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vortex comes to the cage accompanied by Run This Town - Jay-z. This should be fireworks!

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, John Kavanagh and Joseph Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vortex looks for a takedown but Johnson sprawls well.
Johnson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Johnson slaps away a takedown attempt from Vortex, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Vortex changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Johnson tries to avoid it but Vortex manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Johnson to the ground. Johnson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vortex. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Johnson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Vortex sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Vortex manages to get to full guard.
Vortex is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Vortex looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Johnson has picked Vortex up and slammed him! Vortex can't keep hold of the triangle and Johnson manages to pass to side control!

Well Johnson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
