Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kody Corley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akaboshi Aida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Paulo Santos and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corley misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Aida closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Aida wants to advance to full mount but Corley doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Aida is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Aida feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Aida escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Corley gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Aida is working to tighten is grip on Corley's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Corley has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Aida is really squeezing tight and eventually Corley passes out! Aida breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
