The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pin leaves Brighton with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Brighton fails with a takedown attempt.
Pin scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Brighton shoots for a double leg takedown but Pin sprawls well. He's pushed Brighton's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Pin Pin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonathon Brighton.
Pin ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Pin connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Pin with a jab.
Brighton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pin's waist but Pin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Brighton off to one side.
Pin scores with a hook to the body. Brighton takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Brighton looks gassed!
A decent looking cross lands there for Pin.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brighton moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Pin stuns Brighton with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Pin goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Pin ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Pin comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Pin cracks Brighton with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Pin has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Brighton to stand back up!

Brighton is rocked!
Pin drops Brighton with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Brighton! Pin dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
