The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
BiLL throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
rivera shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. BiLL defends it nicely.
BiLL's corner calls for a 1-2. BiLL obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
rivera will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
BiLL displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from rivera.

BiLL throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around rivera's waist but rivera gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing BiLL off to one side.
BiLL lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

BiLL lands a left and a right that send rivera crashing to the mat, dazed. BiLL thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like chok rivera has been cut.
BiLL lands a body shot.
A big right followed by a crushing left from BiLL knocks rivera out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
