Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shissi Aren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Xavier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xavier shoots in but no luck this time.

Xavier shoots in and bounces Aren off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Xavier drops back looking for a leg! Aren is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Aren manages to kick Xavier off! Xavier jumps back into Aren's guard.
Aren preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Aren has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Xavier can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

No joy there for Aren, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Aren is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Xavier is just riding it out for now. Aren eventually gives up the hold.

Xavier changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Aren tries to avoid it but Xavier manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Aren to the ground. Aren escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
