The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kumar blocks a head kick by Ahma.

and Ahma counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kumar won't be happy with that.

Kumar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ahma gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Ahma postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Ahma fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kumar sprawls well initially but Ahma persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Kumar won't allow Ahma to pass to mount.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ahma is looking for a kimura but Kumar is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ahma to get the leverage.
Ahma has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Ahma wants to finish this one by submission but Kumar is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ahma.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Kumar is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Kumar tries to hold on but Ahma postures up.
Ahma postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kumar looks a forlorn figure.

Ahma moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Kumar has worked his arm free - good work by Kumar!

Kumar is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ahma's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ahma's back!

Kumar drops a big shot to the side of Ahma's head! Oh, Ahma is out! He's out cold! Kumar jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner. In his post fight interview he thanks God. Saying that without him, he wouldn't have the power to knock his opponent senseless. Amen.
