Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rickson Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amaury Grizz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rickson Gracie is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rickson Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Amaury Grizz!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Emerson Jorge and Edson Gomes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grizz shoots in for a double leg but Gracie sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Grizz tries to clinch up but Gracie circles away and keeps his distance.
A combination from Grizz does no damage.
Gracie moves out of range as Grizz strikes.

Gracie throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Grizz was covering up waiting for the punch and Gracie finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gracie perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Gracie has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Rickson Gracie just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Gracie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Grizz counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gracie won't be happy with that.

Grizz wants to pass to mount but Gracie is defending the position.

Grizz is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gracie is just riding it out for now. Grizz eventually gives up the hold.
Grizz is stalling here. Gracie is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Grizz seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Gracie has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Gracie looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Grizz is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Gracie's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Gracie's back!

Gracie is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Grizz gets his way!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Grizz wants to control the position but Gracie frees himself and scrambles - Grizz manages to regain control in side control.

Gracie is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Grizz is looking for a kimura but Gracie is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Grizz to get the leverage.

Grizz stalling away here and it's allowed Gracie to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Gracie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Grizz is aware though and is defending well.

Grizz thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Gracie looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Grizz is defending well. Gracie quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Grizz has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Gracie celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
