Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Melendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell throws an overhand right that lands on Melendez's shoulder, as Melendez tries to avoid the shot.
Melendez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A cross from Melendez lands.
Liddell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Melendez moves away.
A combination from Melendez does no damage.
No joy there for Melendez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Liddell tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Liddell instigates a clinch.
Liddell wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Melendez is trying to break the clinch but Liddell is controlling him.
Liddell wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Melendez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Liddell throws a right and a left that Melendez avoids nicely.
Liddell misses with a wild combination.
Liddell throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Melendez stumbling backwards into the cage! Melendez bounces back off the cage towards Liddell, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Liddell lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Liddell celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
