The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruger is looking to clinch.

ceylan jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Kruger manages to avoid the submission attempt.
ceylan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

ceylan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no ceylan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Kruger is trying to control ceylan's posture but ceylan avoids it.
Kruger is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because ceylan is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Kruger sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
ceylan looks to land a combination but Kruger avoids it well.

ceylan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Kruger tries to clinch up.
Kruger swats away the attempt to clinch by ceylan.
ceylan closes the distance and clinches up with Kruger, looking for a takedown. ceylan pushes Kruger against the cage but Kruger circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
ceylan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kruger but Kruger pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Freddy Kruger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of mehmet ceylan.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. ceylan looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Kruger! Submission of the night perhaps?
