Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Rabbit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antoni Gaudi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Antoni Gaudi is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Rabbit working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gaudi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gaudi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Rabbit misses with a takedown

and Gaudi counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Gaudi lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Rabbit manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gaudi manages to get himself to full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gaudi is on top in guard.

Rabbit had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Gaudi is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Rabbit Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Gaudi's back instead.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Gaudi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rabbit tries to avoid it but Gaudi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rabbit to the ground. Rabbit escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
